The extra high number of pleats in the filter media (15 pleats per 300 mm) provides excellent service life. The media itself is a blend of cotton and polyester with 100% mechanical filtration properties, high elevation and a weight that matches the best filters on the market. These filter panels are constructed by bonding the cotton/polyester pleat packets together to form an Aquakote® frame. Aquakote® has superior tear strength when wet and excellent tear resistance when dry. In addition, it is made from renewable materials.
