The Pilatus PC-6/B2-H2 Turbo Porter is an advanced version of the well-known light multipurpose turboprop PC-6B, developed in the early 1960s by the Swiss company Pilatus. This version is powered by a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-27 engine with 680 hp. In addition to being built in Switzerland, the aircraft was manufactured under license in the USA by Fairchild Industries. Aircraft used by the U.S. Army were designated UV-20A Chiricahua. This type of plane has been exported to many countries across different continents, including Australia and Latin America, such as Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. The Pilatus PC-6/B2-H2 Turbo Porter has been utilized for military purposes in the air forces of these countries, as well as for civilian activities like light transport and skydiving.
