In automotive history, there are probably only a few vehicles that can match the cult status of the Land Rover. And when it comes to robustness and off-road capability, no one can compete with it. Those who needed to transport a lot in rough terrain opted for the long wheelbase version, known as LWB or 109. The third generation of this British icon, known as Series III, was produced almost unchanged for nearly 15 years starting in 1971.
