Product details

The massive long-haul aircraft Boeing 747 made its maiden flight on February 9, 1969. The jumbo jet was equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines providing 19,731 lbf of thrust, a takeoff weight of over 300,000 kg, and could transport 385 passengers over a distance of 9,136 km. The 747 was designed by Boeing as a series, with the 747-100 followed by additional variants with increased capacities. It features a structured fuselage and wings. The landing gear can be built in either an open or closed position. Detailed engines and landing gear are included. Decals for a version of Air Canada are also provided.
