Basically, the range of an Ethernet network is 100 meters, which also limits the maximum length of a network cable. However, there may be instances where you need to install a camera at a greater distance. This network extender increases the range to up to 500 meters and achieves speeds of up to 100 MBit/s. It is perfectly suited for cost-effective IP camera installations. Through a splitter, you can connect up to four slave adapters and operate your cameras. Of course, this technology is open to all protocols, codes, and applications to ensure compatibility for IP cameras and their associated management software. Additionally, the extender is Plug & Play capable. No IP address or network configuration is required for installation.
