The detection works through high-frequency technology, even through doors, glass panes, or thin walls. Depending on the nature of the obstacles, the signals are attenuated more or less. The motion detector emits high-frequency signals, similar to radar, which are reflected back from surfaces within the detection range. These signals are analyzed by the integrated electronics. If these signals change, for example due to movement (human, animal, or object), the detector is triggered.
