Robot vacuum
The robot vacuum cleaner has surprised us very positively. It cleans quickly, quietly and quite thoroughly.
The free app is intuitive to use. Areas that are not to be cleaned can be separated. You can choose between cleaning the whole flat, certain rooms or certain selected areas.
You can also differentiate between vacuuming / wiping, i.e. areas such as a carpet that should not be wiped but vacuumed.
It recognises and avoids obstacles very well, staying close to the object. It is very careful and does not bang everywhere, as other "better" robots do. At the same time, it moves quickly and systematically. I am particularly impressed with the navigation.
It can also overcome obstacles of up to 2-3 cm, and it is even quite determined and tries to get over the edge at a different angle, usually successfully.
The dust bin is a bit small and has to be emptied frequently (every second time). I am always surprised at how much it has sucked up.
The only drawback is its wiping performance. It leaves two damp strips about 3 cm wide behind it, which is insufficient. I expect it to use the whole mop!
Maybe there is a problem only with my robot... but I suspect it's because it only has two holes that distribute the water over the mop.
Conclusion: a very successful everyday helper

This brand has totally failed me when it comes to robotic hoovers. The good thing is that I now know that robots are not going to take over the world any time soon. I've had several models from this brand. This model has finally put me off.

Very good device for this price
Mi's failure to "guarantee" a connection to the app it issues itself is just embarrassing. All the other devices I have manage it effortlessly, even if the app is from other suppliers. Only Mi requires you to crawl into the device and find the exact angle to connect long enough to pair. It's so bloody tedious that I think Mi should transfer the 301 francs to ME....

My lifesaver, great for a large flat, scans all the rooms itself and then you can control it via the app.
I don't want to give it away any more, it vacuums brilliantly and wipes tiptop.

super robot for vacuuming and mopping. At the moment it goes through the flat every two days and vacuums while we are at work. I especially like the vacuuming under the bed because it helps with allergies. I also have it mop every few days after a vacuuming session. The robot creates a map of the flat, which you can then segment as you like. This allows the robot to be sent to specific zones or to adjust the programme according to the room. I was surprised that the robot found so much dust even after two days. It only has problems with my two Ikea Poaeng armchairs because it can climb on the feet and then has a hard time getting down again. At the moment I'm moving them out of the way, but I'll have to build some kind of barrier.

Very good performance and excellent value for money
I already have the predecessor and use it in the attic. Another cheap model has since given up the ghost, and was not really good at cleaning either. And now the successor to my "old Robi" has hit the ground running - it's really good. I use it mainly for vacuuming (because there are two dogs in the house - they also like it and just go into their basket).

I really don't know what to write about + or -....
I have been thinking about buying a robot hoover for a while. After a long time of thinking and racking my brains, should I? Should I not? I got one.
I had to realise that for my 3.5 room flat (I think) it takes a bit too long to vacuum and mop. 57 minutes... I'm faster with my Dreame T30 vacuum and mop in 15 minutes including drying.
I thought this would be a bit of a relief for me and my son not having to clean the floor every night....
The device is also a bit too loud (with a child) in the evening and babbles like a tape. "The Device is now going to the Charging Dock" "Dust Bag removed" Dust Bag Insert" and so on.
Even after scanning the flat, the vacuum was hanging under the child's chair. (Run 4x and got stuck in the same place...).
I think this is something suitable for 1 - 2 room flats with little furniture. So for the first own flat or something like that.
Therefore, I have to send the Xiaomi Mi Mop 2 Pro back.
