This device performs flawlessly with good quality, the WLAN range is sufficient for a medium-sized flat. The installation is reasonably quick, the operation is partly available in German, details only in English (in paper form, more detailed on CD). Unfortunately, the rather small unit has no on/off button. However, I plugged it into a switched socket. As long as the unit is disconnected from the power supply from time to time, it starts up very quickly when reconnected. What's great is that the device works great regardless of another brand (router, basic powerline LAN device). It even works when another WLAN powerline device (D-Link in my case) is plugged in somewhere in the flat. The purchase was worth it for me.

I already have some ehternet cable-only powerlines at home, now with this one I have added Wi-Fi in the basement room. The best feature is that you can duplicate your Wi-Fi network, thus not having to reconnect all the devices to a new network.

For about 1 1/2 years I have been using a TP-Link Gigabit Kit TL-PA7017 KIT system for the connection from the 1st to the 2nd floor, which works great. Unfortunately, I have no reception with my mobile phone in the basement, neither via the mobile network nor WLAN. Now I have supplemented the system with a TP-Link TL-WPA4220, which is installed in the basement. This means that I can now also surf there (less important) and can be reached - via WLAN - on my mobile phone. It works perfectly and was actually delivered within 24 hours - great!
Fortunately, I understand enough English, because the instructions supplied contain 'only' 15 (!) different Eastern European languages besides English. German was probably forgotten. The instructions that can be downloaded from the Digitec webshop are also only in English. I see potential for improvement there.Pro

Fulfils sense and purpose
Now and then I lose the connection, but plugging and unplugging solves the problem. This may be because I am on the second floor and the transmitter is on the ground floor.

I wonder why this technology is not banned.
