TP-Link M7350 Mobile 4G/LTE WLAN router
TP-Link M7350 Mobile 4G/LTE WLAN router
Does exactly what it needs to do. Equipped with a prepaid SIM card and connected to a WLAN cam, the stable can now be monitored without further ado.
Update after 8 months of continuous operation always on power: In the last few weeks it had to be restarted every 2-3 days. I have now updated the firmware and hope that it will run non-stop for another 8 months.
Basically very reliable.

I bought this product recently and immediately wondered if it was worth it. As soon as I unpacked it took maybe 10 minutes to connect all my devices and the management app is great. The network picks up very well (I have a 21Mbit download yallo subscription although where I live I get 17/18 at the most and it loads everything excellently from both iPad and phone, PC and Mac). I use the connection to stream movies from PC to Chromecast and it never crashes, always smooth. The only flaw, if you can call it that, is that when you set the maximum range of the antennas, even if the modem is plugged into the mains it consumes more than it charges, so it soon reaches zero, but with the 'short' transmission setting, I get the maximum signal even at a distance of 5/10 metres with walls in the way (not bad in a flat); with this setting you can also leave it plugged in without any problem. Perfect product, especially for the low price.
Bought the MiFi for holidays abroad so the whole family can stay online.
The MiFi does what it is supposed to do.
It works perfectly and reliably.
The manual is written in an understandable way, making it easy to use.

I bought the TP-Link M7350 for our holiday flat. It does what it is supposed to do and works reliably. Settings can be made very easily using the tmMifi app.

The price alone is a real bargain when compared with other MIFI from Huawei, Netgear, etc. :)
This MIFI supports LTE/4G category 4 (= upload max. 150.8 Mbit/s, download max. 51.0 Mbit/s), currently category 6 (= upload max. 301.5 Mbit/s, download max. 51.0 Mbit/s), but there are still almost no mobiles that can do this and the mobile antennas of the providers currently only support this in the major cities (e.g. Zurich, Basel, Bern). That's why Cat4 will suffice completely until further notice ..... so why spend more money on a MIFI where Cat6 is possible if you can only rarely use the speed anyway.
As for the physical attributes of the MIFI itself .....
..... the case feels a bit cheap - because of the plastic - and is a bit thick/wide compared to other MIFI's, but it is very light.
..... The display itself is big enough for all the important information. Reception bar for WLan and mobile antenna, SMS, battery and provider info as well as a display of the current data transfer.
..... The web menu is also not too cluttered and contains all the important functions.
The (iOS) app also fulfils all the important functions.
The battery lasts long enough, no more or less than with other MIFIs from other manufacturers.
My SIM from SALT was recognised immediately and it was not necessary to set the APN manually.
So far I'm satisfied with it, but I'm curious to see how it performs when used abroad with other SIMs.

The mobile WiFi router offers exactly what you expect, and you can even set the maximum amount of data you want to use in the app so that you don't get a surprisingly high data bill at the end of the month.
The display is also particularly useful for me, as it provides the most important information directly (battery charge status, network availability, data used, etc.).
The device is light and easy to use. It works perfectly in Switzerland.
However, it is unfortunately unusable for my intended purpose - namely operation abroad!
I just tried to use it in Austria for the first time, but it did not connect to any of the networks there! I tried it with two different SIM cards (Swisscom and Sunrise), both of which work without any problems in a mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy) - even in access point mode (i.e. tethering). However, the TP-Link modem simply did not want to connect to the same SIM cards!
Roaming was of course enabled! The display on the front also claims that it is connected to the network, but there is no data traffic and if you check via WebUI, it says that the data connection is "Not connected".
The parameters required for various networks/providers (APN, uid, pwd, authentication method, etc.) are obviously already programmed into the device and, as a check with the relevant providers showed, were all set correctly, but there was still no connection!
I am quite frustrated that I have obviously bought a paperweight costing CHF >100!
Correction: Roaming does work, but you first have to "trick" the device or "manually" intervene in the configuration: In foreign networks, the device obviously switches to the default profile of the respective provider (obviously it has saved this internally). However, this only makes sense if you use a SIM card from the respective provider. If, on the other hand, you want to roam, you have to keep the APN setting (plus username and password and, if applicable, the authentication type) of the home network! You have to create and enter this manually, then it works!

I am very very satisfied.
The reception is top. Roaming can be switched off easily. Very happy.

Small and lightweight. Very easy to install. Copying data to the SD card is very easy with the app and can be shared with all devices.
Works perfectly. Handy to take along in everyday life.
We had a little trouble at the beginning with the installation, because we needed an app for it. the instructions were a little difficult. but we are extremely satisfied with the device. we use it as a router at home.
Works great over short wifi distances. I use it at home when I'm on holiday because I don't have an internet flat rate. Optimal with Salt prepaid for 2chf per day unlimited internet with 4g speed.

I use the device permanently (always connected to the power supply) as a hotspot in my holiday home as internet access for about 10 devices. So far I am very satisfied with it.
Pro
The device delivers what it promises. Simple configuration, fast internet and very good battery life.
When connected directly to a USB port on the PC, the device can also be used without W-LAN. All necessary drivers are stored on the device and are automatically installed when it is connected for the first time.
Hardly any power consumption in standby, battery lasts several days if not weeks.
Not cheap but good value for money.
Pro
It worked without any problems, just as I had imagined. I was on skiing holiday in Austria.
Perfect for countries where the Internet is only available via 3/4G, such as the Congo

I bought a unit from Hu.... in a specialist shop. from a specialist dealer. I gave up after 3 hours of setting it up. Then I ordered TP-Link, it was delivered the next day and was unpacked and set up in 10 minutes. Absolute recommendation!

We use the device as a mobile router in the holiday flat and activate a SIM card from Wingo on a daily basis. Sensational duo.
This makes it possible to watch Apple TV in the holiday flat without an internet connection.
The streaming works excellently, as well as
Of course, the data quality depends on the provider (Swisscom, Sunrise, etc.). But the device processes the data perfectly.
An absolute tip to buy.
It could also be used for working on the road - but I use the iPhone as a router.

I already have such a device in Thailand and was very positively surprised there (Asia version). The device stays there because I always need it for holidays.
Now I have bought the EU version here and had almost the same experience. Unfortunately, I had to do a reset at the beginning so that I could access the interface and my SIM card was only recognised after the rest.
After that, however, I had no more problems with the EU version.

The TP-Link M7350 device is small and handy. Apart from inserting the SIM card and, if necessary, the menu, there is little to do. It has proven itself in Italy 🇮🇹 and in France 🇫🇷 where the network coverage was good enough.

works, handy, but not very user-friendly in my opinion.
A charging cable should have been included (only a 10cm USB cable; who needs that?).
I would not recommend the device for someone without great patience or knowledge of technology. The Quick Installation Guide is more or less superfluous or incomprehensible.
Still 4 stars, as I was able to get it up and running relatively quickly.

I often work on my laptop on the road, so I needed a sensible hotspot.
Unfortunately, the device worked very unreliably at first, the connection broke down every 10-20 minutes for ~1 minute.
Switching to 2.4 Ghz wifi at 20Mhz and pushing 4G-only solved the problem.
Battery life 10h is, as so often in the mobile sector, complete nonsense. When in use, it's half a day at most.
The power-save mode is nice, as it switches off the WLAN and mobile after a while and is active again within seconds at the touch of a button.
In the end, however, the thing does what it is supposed to do and is much more practical than using the mobile phone as a hotspot. However, you could just as well use an old mobile phone for this...

Very handy and easy to install and operate. Everything worked straight away. However, the SIM card has to be inserted under the battery, as with old mobile phones. This is rather impractical if you want to use different cards when travelling. An external card slot would be more convenient.
