It does its duty but.
It works and does its job. It does not transmit mbps as described. Eg: My phone gets 800 mbps while TP-Link gets 300 mbps at the same point. It still does very well, but not as described. I noticed a big difference in location, under the desk I got 120 mbps and above the desk 300 mbps.
Conclusion: I find TP-Link reliable and I recommend it for anyone who wants to boost their signal. The product is OK but definitely not top of the range.Pro

Device that fulfils the requirements
The scope of delivery includes a CD with drivers for various systems. A nice idea, but not absolutely necessary.
It has rubber feet so it won't slip on a surface, but the USB cable that connects to the computer is a bit stiff and pulls the little device along with it if the cable is kinked.
The performance of this little monster is great and the range with its moveable antennas means it can be placed anywhere.Pro

I was a little worried because I have to go through two solid walls and so far I have only managed a reasonably usable wireless connection with special devices. But with the Archer T4U it also works without problems.
About the installation: With my Windows 10, simply plug it in, wait briefly and connect. - So it was absolutely no problem.Pro

Solved my dropout and speed issues in a difficult room.
I live in a typical Swiss apartment of concrete construction. I work in a bedroom as an office with the door closed so the signal has to go through the corridor and one wall/wooden door. So the signal goes from from one side building to the other - maybe 12-15m in total. A have a new, premium HP laptop which has in principle a very good Intel AX200 internal. I get 175Mbits/s with the internal adaptor and 300Mbs/s with this external adaptor. This is measure to Sunrise's external server, so it assumes the limit is the wifi and not the internet.
I don't know what the technical merits of this adapter is, I suspect it is not as advanced as what is in my laptop BUT it does illustrate how important a good, high gain antenna is. And for CHF30ish, I'm not complaining! Very happy with this purchase.Pro
