Sony Bdv-E2100
I am very satisfied with it!
Great price/performance ratio.
Great functions like NFC, Bluetooth etc..
Great sound for an average living room.
The only small drawback is the somewhat short cable. However, with a little skill, they can be extended quite easily.
I can only recommend it.

Great value for money!
With this set you have everything you need for your home, easy switching, easy installation. Good sound. Everything top. Very satisfied
If you want a complete home cinema at a reasonable price, this is the device for you. I deduct one star for the very short cables, which can be extended with little manual skill.

Top price-performance ratio.
More than sufficient for our rented flat!
Has many extras, YouTube from smartphone to TV, Bluetooth, Squeezebox access and and and, I am more than satisfied!
Top product! Works perfectly.
Highly recommended.

I bought this unit for my kitchen. It doesn't take up much space, is easy to wire (passive subwoofer), and works well with my SONY TV. Bluetooth / NFC is also nice. The sound is always better than the soundbars in this price segment and even better, real surround!

The product meets my expectations.
Unfortunately, the switching (sound) between the Blu Ray player and the TV via the HDMI
cable is rather slow. The advertised 1000 watts are probably a bit optimistic....

Reserved and picked up.
Went home and installed everything.
Then I put a Blu-Ray in to test the whole thing.
And it is just great!
The sound is breathtaking and the 5.1 feeling really comes into its own.
Listening to music with Bluetooth also works great.
What is really convincing is the function to change the dB level of all speakers, so you can turn down the bass (apartment building) and emphasise the voices on the centre speaker.
Unfortunately, the control unit is quite large and takes up a lot of space.
But it has nice long cables that can all be plugged into the control unit.
Conclusion:
+Surround control unit too big
+Bluetooth
+Wifi
+Adjustable dB values
I still haven't received the remote control?

Avoid this thing IF you want a good film experience.
Sometimes the player put himself on some kind of sleep mode: you have to push a button to continue... and send you back in main menu.
The sound is awful, full of high tones, the surround is over powerful in comparison.
Take a simple Blu-Ray player with a stereo audio output, plug this to the input of your HiFi with good stereo speakers and you'll have a MUCH better system, believe me. 5.1 worth it only if you can tweak al the channels and with good speakers. If it's not, it's 6 speakers screaming in your face, making a soup of noises.

Where can I get extension cables for the individual boxes?

If you want to listen to Dolby Surround simply for TV and music without having higher demands, this system is highly recommended. As I said, it's simply good for the price. There are hardly any sound systems on the market at this price level.

the internet connection and logging in and out of Netflix etc. falters and requires patience.
Sound quality is fully o.k.
Price-performance is good
Unfortunately, the interaction with the LG TV and the Apple TV does not work as desired.
Very satisfied but sometimes out of sync with the speech
works for those who would like a simple, inexpensive solution with cables. As usual with Sony, slow menu response - netflix takes a long time to load - no additional apps can be installed - Amazon Prime, Google Playstore not available.

Interesting price, but the sound quality is sobering. Unfortunately, it's not for my ears....
Top price/performance.
Cables are a little short, but can easily be extended with a suitable cable.

The smallest Sony home cinema system is nice to look at. Installation works flawlessly and quickly. It also sounds quite nice. It's clear that you can't expect high-end tube sound for this price.
I sold the system again because unfortunately it does not play all audio and video formats. The system did not recognise my AIFF files at all. Even films in HD on my connected HardDisk could be played. The system only allows a hard disk in FAT32 format. What a pity! Then the large films over 4 GB are already cancelled.
If you want to make full use of your home network, I recommend a larger Sony product. Or inform yourself well on the Sony website what exactly can be played.

Price/performance is pretty much ok. For this price segment and for my intended use, the sound is more than sufficient!

I only used the speakers from the TV screen before. The difference is huge and super great, especially with films! I would buy again. One cable was too short to connect one of the rear speakers. Had to buy a cable and extend it, was no problem. When switching on, it takes a while until the sound is played. But it is acceptable. Listening to music on a mobile phone via Bluetooth also works great. Adjusting the speakers at the beginning took a bit of nerve.
Optimal for the money and small rooms. Sound is very good. Installation very simple.
