Very good for me as a smoker
I don't use air purifiers because of allergy problems, instead I want to reduce the room pollution from my smoking and also ordinary dust to have to clean less. The AC2889/10 did not disappoint me, or rather not that but the. I use 2 in a smoking room of 20sqm. One was enough but two in opposite corners are very beneficial. Shortly after starting a cigarette, the air rating on the unit goes from 1 to the worst value 12. Then the unit goes up and cleans down to 3 and more after a while. It reacts very well to cigarette smoke. The only thing that bothered me with a device was that I had to configure it to work at full blast. And since I smoke again and again, it did that often and in the long run the strong fan noise was annoying. So I added a second one. Both together have my cigarette smoke under control and I can run them in a mode where they don't have to circulate the air so vigorously, yet together they work faster than just one unit in the strongest mode. I read the criticism here about the weak filling of the activated carbon filter with activated carbon. That is true of the original Philips filter. But what the heck, the filters are consumables. To replace them, you just buy one from Comedes for this cleaner, which are then cheaper and filled to the brim. It's a really great device for smokers and for those who only want to dust less, one device is enough. But for smokers, I would recommend my method with 2 units.

User-friendly, stylish device for clean, healthy indoor air.
The device has a very sensitive sensor that reacts even to increased pollution in the outside air (e.g. in smog situations).
