Room air dryer
Basically, this Italian product does its job (well). It can be set to a variety of settings and is quiet. The control panel is also clear and user-friendly.
However, there are a few points that I find disappointing - hence 4/5 stars.
The appliance only comes with a quick start guide (a shame, but not wild). I then found what I was looking for on the manufacturer's website and downloaded more information. However, these seem to have been translated by an "AI", because they are incorrect, misleading and - in my opinion - incomplete.
Furthermore, the manufacturer advertises that this device has several filters, which should also be replaced to ensure proper function (- and this point is much more important!). Apart from the fact that I have only discovered one filter (lack of device description ?! ), this is also N I R G E N D S to obtain. The operating instructions (as already mentioned) do not provide any information on this, and the manufacturer does not respond to my enquiry in the contact form on the manufacturer's website - very disappointing!
I now only hope that this device will do its job for a LONG time (- or give up the ghost so quickly that I can return it within the warranty period).
The former option is fine with me, because I am basically satisfied with the device.Pro

Best for non-living spaces
I purchased the Olimpia Splendid Aquaria S1 14P for its price point and for its description here, and elsewhere, as being among the quietest of dehumidifiers. It is not. It would probably be best utilized in a basement or in a laundry room, but not in an apartment that shares a wall with other tenants. I returned the item and purchased a Meaco, a bit more expensive but which operates efficiently and, more important, quietly.

I really liked it... I just didn't like the transport company's work. I was at home and he didn't ring the doorbell. And he left the parcel in the street. He could have left it inside the building.
