    Enchanting

Does what a Swiss Made watch should do .... and a touch of magic when the second hand reaches 12 o'clock :)

Exactly what you expect, without hidden surprises.

That the battery lasts less long is understandable with the mechanisms. Nevertheless, for the purchase decision relevant for one or the other.

    Pro

    • Stop and Go mechanism very special
    • Time change mechanism also very special
    • Glow-in-the-dark is UNDER the hands, so you can see not only the hands but also the dial

    Contra

    • have read that the battery lasts less long than conventional watches

    Beautiful energy guzzler

I have had the watch for a year now, another without the stopping second hand was out of the question. Now the first battery change was already due. For this, the case has to be warmed up slightly, because the four tiny slotted screws are glued with Loctite or something similar. The case is sealed with a rubber gasket and the battery is a common CR2032. Effects of the weakening battery were an inaccurate rate (20-40 seconds lag per week) and the second hand suddenly stopping for a few seconds.
The second hand doesn't always stop exactly and has to be adjusted more often, but that's a topic for perfectionists, it's rarely badly off.
The watch is a bit thicker and chunkier than comparable models due to the more elaborate mechanics and large button cell, but the beautiful design hides this well and this point is not a problem even on my delicate man's wrist. For the standard price, however, it would have been too expensive for me. A pity is the red sticker on the back, which falls off after only two weeks.

    Superb realization

Superb realization which imitates to perfection the clocks of our stations. The strap is not extraordinary, but it is solid and interchangeable if necessary.
This watch remains however (too) expensive.

    Pro

    • Exact design of the station clocks
    • Innovative
    • Solid, durable

    Contra

    • Too expensive

    A design classic

Actually the only clock that can claim the name station clock, as only the "stop2go" has hands that move as we know it from the station.
