Wow, a really good product.
A fantastic product that takes internet wifi to a new level.
The product is very customisable, so an expert can really do what they want.
The product offers features found in Cisco routers that cost at least ten times as much.
You need to know a lot about networking to configure this product, but in this version there are automatic configurations that make life much easier for the novice.Pro

Error in digitec specification
The digitec.ch Mikrotik hAP ac3 web page claims the device can be powered by 802.3af PoE. The official MikroTik documentation does make that claim. Instead the MikroTik documentation describes passive PoE-In between 12 and 28VDC. I would imagine that the 48VDC of 802.3af could damage the device.

Good, but the wifi is beyond my expectations
RouterOS is great, it's really configurable and fast, the customizations are unbeatable for this price. (Not so good if you're afraid of hundreds of settings though.)
I bought it for the wifi because UPC's wifi is too weak over 2 walls. To my surprise, the wifi of this device is even weaker. And it spends too much time scanning for DFS and 5GHz is unusable during that time. Also its OpenVPN client is incompatible with VPN providers that I tried but there are alternatives (e.g. PPTP).Pro
