Windows XP at THE price.... really outrageous to sell such an old product at such a high price... but typical microsoft.
If you buy it, it's your own fault, especially since windows 7 won't cost any more and windows xp comes with it as a vm...
Besides : meanwhile every halfway current Linux is superior to WindowsXP in all categories and that for free!

i think i heard the same criticism in the beginning when xp came out, and now it's called the best of all times.

Vista is the best for private users!
removetere I understand that , is also bad from MS.... !
But just as I said about drivers, incompatible, performance hogs, you don't have to come to me anymore.
- Drivers: We don't have any more problems, this was only the case at the beginning because the hardware developers missed it, not MS.
- Incompatible: Of course, old devices are no longer usable because drivers are missing.
- Performance hog: Of course it needs a bit more from everyone. But only in the Aero interface. And while we are at it. An Intel i7 wind is slowed down by Win XP and not Vista!
So everyone who has a medium good PC should use Vista. !
(Medium good PC: min. 2 GB RAM / min. Intel Core 2 Duo 2 x 2.80 GHz / small GPU with 256 GB RAM)

If all people thought like that the beautiful , fast , stunning Windows 7 would not see the light of day now either. And that will put XP / Vista in the shade.
I have to agree with the "Xp fanatics" on one point.
In large companies it is the best solution.
