Medion Erazer Hunter X20
Intel Core i7-11700KF, 32 GB, 2000 GB, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
I deeply, DEEPLY regret my purchase.
All I wanted was to get the 3080 ti, I did not really care about the rest- seemed OK, so I bought it on a big sale before Christmas. It was a terrible mistake
to illustrate what I mean- the person who built this calculated that the pc requires 748 Watts. Then this person proceeded to put in a 750 Watt power supply unit. For those who dont get how ridiculously bad this is- this indicates that the person building this machine has VERY VERY VERY little understanding of what he or she is doing. This is BAD- you get a 3600 CHF PC which cannot game (turns itself off constantly, restarts, etc.- unstable)
The RAM is at least correctly installed
The 3080 Ti- requires an actual Firmware update. Who knows why they didnt install it when they built it. I guess lazy and stupid and careless. Not only that, it does not work with Displayports. Google it, this is a known issue, which would make you think, that the builder would have had an idea of what the task at hand was, and done that for the customer.
Now we are coming to the truly rage inducing part- the Motherboard. For some imbecilic reason, the motherboard is branded from Medion. This means the official drivers are NOT going to work. You CANNOT update the BIOS on your 3.6k CHF machine. NOICE. GENIUS. WOWAWEEEWAA. This means, that you have to get the driver from MEDION. And this means that you will not have the normal product life cycle support. Your Motherboard becomes garbage the moment Medion stops supporting it. Make your own conclusions.
Now we come to the next logical step- getting the driver from Medion.
First of all: They are NOT open till 19:00- the tech department goes home at 16:00. You have to give all personal data, and then have to wait potentially more than 2 weeks for a link with the driver.
Im running out of space. I have spent another 1000CHF, PC is still GARBAGE.
TLDR
PLEASE for the love of everything good stay far far far away from this hot mess. DISASTER

Power supply unit Seasonic is switched off. This "illness" of Seasonic has been going on for 2 years. There is no solution yet. But this disease goes from right safety this power supply.
P.S. In one year product was returned. 2 times is repaired, but still is switched off . No more Medion.

MSI motherboard with Medion OEM BIOS, which can NOT be flashed with the original MSI BIOS. Thus, the current MSI RGB tool did not work at first. A Medion update is not found on the support website. You have to get on the nerves of the support hotline and then you get the current BIOS via email. Then the full functionality is given again. ... Until MSI releases the next BIOS update and then you have to run after the Medion OEM update again, if there should be a Medion update at all. Really extremely unnecessary!!! Not to mention that this circumstance with the OEM motherboard was nowhere explained in the product description! If this had not been an OEM motherboard, but one with original MSI BIOS -> 5 stars.
In itself a good, quiet 750W power supply from Seasonic. Unfortunately, the 3080Ti and the Intel K processor needs more power. The motherboard and the very good water cooling even do a lot of overclocking. Unfortunately, the power supply causes random shutdowns even at standard clock rates. This power supply should simply be exchanged for a stronger one. With an Overkill beQuiet 1500W power supply, the computer runs rock solid stable in absolutely every situation. Then this computer is extremely fun! 4k 120Hz gaming - give it. After these tweaks I am very satisfied.

The PC I like very much and is also quiet in normal operation (of course under load it turns on). The housing is simple and the installed components are top.
But ATTENTION:
- The PC is delivered with set 2400 MHz RAM, who wants to change this must load into the BIOS and the profile.
- Is not Windows 11 compatible without BIOS update. I had so far 6x a kernel power crash (PC just restarts without notice).
The solution for the Windows 11 problem:
As briefly mentioned above, you have to force the latest BIOS update (E7C79IMS.1A0). The problem is that you can't flash it yourself with a USB stick. For this, you must either contact the support of Medion or ask on the community page (so I did) of Medion for the update.

Nice machine but ... received completely non-functional, not even managing to boot up and provide a simple screen output 9 times out of 10...
The machine was sent back because of this defect, and I don't seem to be the only one to experience problems
Huge disappointment in this Christmas period, which makes me think of a lack of factory testing.
