The FB looks good and feels good in the hand. Logitech has a problem with most FBs. In my opinion, Logitech has a problem with most FBs: they always assume that all devices have a defined, i.e. the same, state at the start of all actions. This means that they are either on or off according to the definition of the action at the start of the action. This can be defined per action. It becomes problematic with different FBs from Logitech if the state of the devices is different, i.e. they may have been switched on with the original FB or manually. Some FBs, unfortunately not including the Companion, offer the option of using the FB for the "Device". This means for a specific device. For example, it is possible to briefly set the volume of the TV or the input channel. Of course, the Logitech FB does not know this when you click on an action. With other Logitech FBs, I would then briefly hold the transmitter closed and the FB would "think" everything was on and set correctly. This is not possible with the Companion, as it also works through hands/cabinet walls. For me, it is an absolute no-go that a manufacturer cannot manage a basic use case for so many devices and thus loses itself in its "action philosophy". I was told that for the Companion, devices can be controlled via the app. So if necessary I operate my devices with the "all in one" FB and still a little with the app.... So far I have not found out whether the commands and buttons of the app can be freely designed.
Those who are comfortable with the actions and, for example, only use one device for volume control, will probably be happy with the Companion. I am not.

I don't really like technical devices, but the configuration of the Harmony was too much for me. It took me a long time to get it to replace the Apple TV remote control, for example. I use it mainly to switch the TV on and off. I still can't control the Blu Ray recorder with it. I prefer to use the Apple TV with the original remote control. Sometimes when I want to use it, the TV doesn't respond. I've already asked for help in the forum, but they seem to be somehow detached and rather smile about it.

Bought the remote control for Swisscom TV (with separately ordered USB dongle), Samsung TV and Home Cinema. Works well, but I think a stable WLAN is necessary, a repositioning of the access point helped.

Just to make myself clear, the remote works and does all the things that it should. On the other hand, setting it up with the Android app is on the same level as counting grains of rice with chopsticks.
The application stops randomly, it has the user interface of a 2007 application developed by a guy who took a tutorial on Udemy and provides partial information about what you should do next.
The remote has a nice texture. The hub has an extension (which is glossy black and about 2 cm/2 cm), so you can hide it if you don't like the look of it. All the buttons on the remote are configurable.
Note: I have a 2013 Samsung LCD TV and the Z906 sound system. So, it works with old TVs as well, which is great.
