DVD enjoyment guaranteed!
So far, I've rather relied on Sony & Co., but the LG player convinces me so far completely. Slim with cool design and easy to use. Stops the DVD it is continued at the new start where it stopped. Still looking forward to a lot of movie fun!
NOT A MULTI-REGIONAL PLAYER
BEWARE! I bought this Blu-Ray/DVD expecting it to be multi-regional. IT IS NOT. The description stated it plays both PAL & NTSC and others who purchased it referenced it. However, mine does not. I just get a warning when I put in a US DVD - "Check Regional Code!". There is NO mention of multi-regions in the manual either as one other recommended and there is no apparent way to change the disc code.
A customer service agent at Galaxus said, "Sorry, but we do not sell any multi-regional Blu-Ray or DVD players." So I am guessing there are various versions of this model. This happened to me before after I spent €280 on a nice Sony Blu-Ray/DVD. I read reviews stating it was "region free" and bought it to only find out it plays only European discs. So LG might do the same thing. There should be TWO different model numbers, so I do not understand why manufacturers do this. Very upsetting.Contra
