Hoymiles Inverter HMS-600W-2T Microinverter
When it works, it produces less energy than I expected based on previous experience with cheaper (island) inverters (2x130Wp panels only showed ~140W max, whereas reaching 200W easy with a different inverter into a battery). But getting it to export anything at all if you have anything than ideal conditions is a huge pain. Mostly because it has zero debugging capabilities, it just says there is 20V on input 1, 21V on input 2, 230V/50Hz in the grid and is exporting 0W even under perfect sunlight. Sometimes it takes half an hour to start doing something. The software (a phone app only) is really slow reading any values, really poor at remembering old values, has useless information (CO2/trees bullshit) instead of actual long-term statistics from the MPPT for example. And if you don't want to register with the manufacturer (for some options you need to be an authorized installer!) you have to 1) connect to an internet WiFi, 2) run the app, 3) press "no account", 4) WAIT for the "I will connect to the inverter's WiFi" button which will ONLY appear if you already have internet, 5) press that, 6) in the dialog window, connect to the inverter's WiFi (meaning you're losing internet), 7) going back to the app without turning it off (otherwise you have to do all of this again), 8) wait for everything to sync and then maybe see some data, 9) not turning your phone/tablet off because you'll have to repeat this to reconnect again.
Overall it's a good reminder of why you don't let managers and eco-maniacs design UX, and why you don't let electrical engineers write software. I'm definitely NOT buying more of these.
Oh, did I mention BOTH inputs need 16-30V on them for it to even have a chance to start working? If one of the panel is shaded in the morning, the inverter will refuse to generate power from just one and the app will show an alarm that you cannot clear even if you remedied the problem.

The installation of this micro inverter was easy, after I had tried for two days with another model (different brand) without success. It works perfectly.

Remark:
Has T13 connection cable, not BC01 like many other inverters.
