Too expensive for what it is, but it allows to direct an air flow of about 7° (measured) less towards you. A fan is also effective.
Is not an air conditioner, so you need to know that it is a device that near the air flow, even at 1 low fan speed (40-60%) so that it is quiet, allows you to enjoy 5-7 degrees less. Will not allow to air condition a room, but to have a breath of fresh air.
However, a fan is almost as effective in finding that cool feeling during a heat wave. Expensive for what it is.
tip: use distilled water to avoid saturating the filter too quickly and make it last longerPro

Works as described. It is a personal cooling device that uses evaporative cooling to generate a cool air flow sufficient to make the person sitting in front of the device feel comfortable (power 12W).
The Evapolar should not be expected to cool a room, no matter how small. Provided you are aware of this, it is perfect!Pro

This product is genius. The cooling effect throughout hot summer evenings is wonderful and it works great in the office too. Price it a bit much but performance is good.

- Almost silent, so perfect for night use.
- drops temperature by at least 5 degrees
- Lasts all night on a single fill up
Contra
- Increases humidity & wont work as well when it is humid
- Effective range limited to c1.5m, so wont help if you are moving around
Good device, easy to use, but the price is a bit too high. But I would still recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to use a cumbersome air conditioner with a hose.
