Edifier S350DB

Not a bad product in and of itself, if it weren't for this extremely annoying beeping on every source. I'm not the only one with this problem, if you search the internet for "Edifier S350DB high pitch" or "beeping" or "whistling", you'll find an almost endless number of reports about the problem. There's only one reason why I'm keeping the speakers after all: with an optical cable and changing the Windows sound settings to 24 bit, 44100 Hz, the whistling doesn't exist. Very strange and I am very disappointed that Bluetooth is therefore almost unusable. As I don't fancy endless back and forth with product returns etc. and as there doesn't seem to be a good quality alternative, I'm sticking with the optical connection mode purely for the computer.

Good, clear sound, even at high volumes. Bass is clear and powerful even at low frequencies. The vocals and treble are a little weak, there is a lack of warmth in the sound. I really like the design. The set-up is self-explanatory and very simple. The subwoofer must always be placed on the right-hand side because of the cable length.

It is definitely an improvement from what we had but the voices still do not sound as clear as I hoped (I am still enjoying it). Best solution for what I wanted to spend.
Did not realize that the location of the subwoofer was fixed. I mean that the satellite speakers have different length cables so you will need to have the right speaker closer to the subwoofer whether you like it or not. The left speaker cable is much longer.... and you cannot swap the cables (different connectors) so you cannot swap them to match the layout of your room. No problems with the bluetooth connection... phone / computer / smart speaker all connect. One small issue, my Amazon smart speaker auto-connects to it... so when I want a computer to connect to the speaker, I have to walk over to the Amazon smart speaker and tell it to stop using the bluetooth connection to the subwoofer. No big deal and maybe the Amazon smart speaker causing the issue. Power cable was a little short. I do not know that I would consider 8" subwoofer as "massive" but like I said, I am, overall, happy with the sound.
