Driver problems under Windows
The Digitus DN-3028 is a solidly manufactured LAN/USB adapter. Unfortunately, it does not work directly under Windows. A driver is stored on the adapter and must be installed under Windows. Unfortunately, it is faulty and Windows Update then finds a newer one (connection failure). However, the latest driver from the chip manufacturer Realtek provides a remedy: https://www.realtek.com/en...
After that, a flawless 2.5Gbps connection under Windows. I would have liked to use it on my Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 under Android, but unfortunately the adapter is not recognised here.

This adapter is installed with the RTL8156B. The RTL8156B is about two years old and the most widely used variant of this chipset. It gets much less hot than the RTL8156.
Unfortunately, the RTL8156BG is hard to find or not yet available in Switzerland, but I am very satisfied with this adapter.Pro
