Best choice ever
Being using this carpet cleaner since 2020, still going strong. I was between renting a carpet cleaner from an apotheke and buying my own, glad I opted for the latter one. After extensive research, this Bissel model (with heating tech) is the best vfm, consumer-grade carpet cleaner (apparently there are more heavy-duty and more expensive cleaners).
Make sure you use it with the official formulas, I use "Wash & Refresh" (https://www.galaxus.ch/en/s7/product/bissell-wash-and-refresh-cleaning-products-7036250?supplier=406802)) and you do have a "wave" of freshness in the room after each cleaning.
All in all highly recommended, would buy again.Pro

I'm satisfied. It does what it is supposed to do.
Actually, there is not really anything bad to say about this device. Most negative reviews can be refuted or are simply in the handling. The device is loud but not really louder than a vacuum cleaner. One must be just in the clear what this device does! IT CLEANS!
You should also be aware that you are working with water! Thus also something water gets beside the carpet which can be cleaned...
If you have a towel ready and wipe the liquid away from time to time, the problem is solved. Or simply stay with the machine on the carpet and not work with half the brush head next to it.
I advise to do a few dry exercises first. Then you get a feeling and know where to put the cable. Furthermore, it is advisable not to use too much water at the beginning. The wetter the carpet the longer you need to suck out the liquid. Please do not expect the carpet to dry within 20 minutes.

Stop working after 1st use
Delivery took a while. When I finally used the machine - I was impressed how easy it was to use. However after 5 mins use I notice a rubber burning smell. I checked the troubleshooting info online - I checked the rubber belt but nothing appeared wrong and nothing was stuck, so I assumed it must just be a new product smell. Unfortunately towards the end of my cleaning, the spinners stopped turning and the rubber smell continued. It has a warranty which is great and I submitted a claim to Galaxus, which was straightforward. However, what a mission to return the machine - we had unfortunately thrown the large box it arrived in away, finding a box to send it back was a hassle packaging it well was a task and then lugging it to the post office. I would like to see online stores make returns or repairs easier to manage - like pick up from home location and offer to ship packaging if needed. I shop mainly online, but I think I learnt my lesson with large electrical goods, likely easy to manage returns through a brick and mortar store. Now, lets see if they fix the machine or replace it - wondering how long that will take!!

There are no real directions for use even on the web ...... too bad because the result on the carpet was great, but I used too much water and I ruined the parquet

Does what it should
I would recommend using it every few months at most (except in urgent situations), as it is quite time-consuming to clean and if you don't do it properly, it will logically start to stink. So clean everything there is to clean in the house once, clean it and then put it away and don't use it again for a few months.
