I use the A5+ as a desktop speaker for music and also for games.
I use it in combination with the Audioengine D1 DAC and am thrilled with the sound.
Due to my desktop setup, I swapped the left and right speakers, which is easy to do by swapping the audio cables from the DAC (probably not so easy without the DAC).
I deducted the design because the frames around the diaphragms are a strange grey, not black.I would buy again
Is our audio system in the living room for Netflix, Spotify and co. For its size, it has a full sound. Rather bass-heavy. Would buy it again though. Connections are great and as a small detail, the USB power supply on the amp itself is very cool.

First class
The speakers alone already sound top, on the recommendation in many comments I ordered the Audioengine D-1 "preamplifier".
In this combination first-class, indeed brilliant stereo sound, no unnecessary but still powerful bass and simply a great sound image.
Use it mainly for video editing. But occasionally just sit in front of the PC and listen to some good music, across all genres =)Pro

I treated myself to the speakers based on the reviews and without listening to them in advance and I have to say, I am thrilled!
I have the A5+ on my desk and use them for music and films. The sound is very clear, bass is present but not too dominant, which I'm sure many people appreciate.
The set-up is very quick, the speakers feel and sound very high quality.
In my opinion, there are enough connection options, I connected a Cambridge Audio A8 subwoofer to the A5+ - it works great! The USB charging port is also an addition that proves useful in between.

all round amazing speakers with more than enough bass for non neighbour harassing use.
I have never heard the speakers before buying them, took a chance based on internet reviews and the speaks delivers.
sound is crystal clear, bass is more than sufficient, very clear even when loud, definitely made the right choice buying these over bose companion 5 setups or other standard pc speakers.Pro
