I use this mesh access point with the Zyxel router from Yallo. Since Yallo belongs to Sunrise, I assume it is the same.
Works fine; download the MPro Mesh app to your phone for installation. It's very easy to install, no technical knowledge needed.
I don't have it on the wall. But:
As far as I can tell, hanging it directly on the wall is hardly possible. However, the base can be clipped into the back so that the part can then be hung on a screw on the wall. Without the base, the distance between the wall and the rear of the repeater (i.e. the socket) is approx. 6 mm (definitely too little, even for an angled plug; even the power supply unit could not be connected in this way). With the base as a "hanger", the distance is then about 17mm. A little difficult to explain, but I hope it's reasonably clear
Is possible.
Only the set-up is special. Don't follow the enclosed instructions, it won't work.
But with the 'MPro Mesh' app from Zyxel, it works straight away and then everything runs smoothly.
The Zyxel model you mention on the digitech site is the WX3100-T0, I bought it a few months ago. Be careful, it's not a router but an access point. This means that you need a wifi router and that the WX3100-T0 will be used to extend the wifi network. Have a nice day!
