That is explained relatively quickly. Our shops have completely separate logistics and supplier networks. Our automated pricing systems are also based on market prices and availability. Therefore, it happens time and again that products in the CH shop are more expensive than in DE.
PS: None of the suppliers deliver to us from China, so the advantage of Switzerland is also somewhat lost.
We source our products from different suppliers to ensure availability as far as possible. As soon as a supplier does not have the item in stock, we switch to a supplier with higher availability. Each supplier offers different prices, so there may be price differences. There can be various reasons for this, such as higher purchase prices for smaller quantities or additional import costs. We therefore work with daily prices. See here: galaxus.ch/en/wiki/6028
Hello
We bought the air filter almost exactly a year ago and the appliance has been running 24/7 on automatic since that day. Today the appliance shows a residual value of 25% of the filter. I vacuum the filter about once a month as it naturally collects dust.
The appliance is great and I think the price of the filter is ok for the fact that it "lasts" a whole year.
I have an air filter from Fellowers in the company and the filter costs over CHF 150.
Greetings
I don't know the Blueair, but I can tell you that I'm very happy with the Xiaomi. I bought it in November 2013, still under the name "Elite" at the time. Since then it has been in constant use without any problems. I haven't had to change the filter yet, but I do clean the outside of the fan and the area around it from time to time. A blessing with a cat in the house and would buy it again at any time :)
The filter has to be replaced after +/- 1 year and I bought a replacement filter from Galaxus at the same time. Mine seems to last over 1.5 years ... I'm not sad about that.
I take back what I said. I was only looking on the Digitec site and not on Galaxus. It turns out that the filter is only visible on the Galaxus site and not on the Digitec site.
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier Elite (1 x)
Hello - what experiences have been made regarding filter replacement: Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier Elite filter is specified as a replacement, which costs quite a bit, 50 to 70. Are there generic filters available, or does it have to be this replacement filter? And what is your experience of the service life of a filter?
As I also assume that the people who have bought this appliance know it pretty well, I would like to ask one last question: Is the activated charcoal filter a must? We don't really need to remove unpleasant odours... Many thanks in advance to the users who are willing to answer these questions!
The Xiaomi Y-600 air purifier has different operating levels that influence the volume and performance. Here are some important points:
- The air purifier has several power levels that can be adjusted according to requirements and air quality.
- The volume varies depending on the operating level. In general, the volume is at a low level, especially in night mode, and can increase at higher power levels, but it usually remains below 68 dB.
- The operating levels also depend on the level of air pollution, as the air purifier can automatically adjust the power to optimise the air quality.
Therefore, the volume is not 68 dB all the time, but depends on the selected operating level and the current air quality.
The Xiaomi Y-600 device is partially suitable for removing cigarette smoke, but it has some limitations regarding this function.
- The device has a 3-layer filter arrangement consisting of a pre-filter, a fine dust filter and an activated carbon filter. The activated carbon filter is specially designed to eliminate unpleasant odours, including smoke.
- The activated carbon filter in the Xiaomi Y-600 can therefore help to reduce cigarette smoke and other unpleasant odours.
However, it is important to note that the effectiveness of the filter depends on various factors, such as the intensity of the smoke and regular filter maintenance.
