lol That's exactly what I asked myself after buying a new filter! So plastic really is (unfortunately) household waste. But it has a metallic net. On the net I only find recommendations for household waste unless it's a large amount. That's all I could find.

There are copies made in Asia, but I recommend the original. That said, you can continue to use the same filter for a long time because its real life in a lightly polluted atmosphere is much longer than that calculated by the application (it's not a 'wear' detector but a calculator of the number of hours based on what the airborne particle detector measures. )

The "Mi Air Purifier HEPA Filter (1 x)" is not compatible with the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4. This filter is only advertised for the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2, 2H, 2S, 3, 3H and Pro models and does not fit the Smart Air Purifier 4, even if the size appears similar.
