Does this work as a Nas for tv? I can connect to my tv and search movies that I have there?

You can watch movies stored on WD Mycloud device on your TV, but real life scenario would be that device is not directly connected to the TV as it should be connected to the router/network that you have in his premises, and then through video playback app on his Smart TV you can access device like Media server and play video content stored on it.

Hello I have had a WD MY BOOK LiVE as my NAS for a few years. It works as a network drive and my Itunes library is also on it. So I can access my music from different devices via DNLA. Everything works fine Now I want to set up the same system at my sister's and came across the MY CLOUDE HOME at WD. However, after doing some research, I'm not really sure if this is the right product.

Hands off this filth. Only works with an account and via WD service online. The pure opposite of My Book Live. Hands off this junk!
