Yes, I just installed a 43-inch Panasonic TV with it. I see no reason why your 39-inch TV won't fit.
Hello Di Domenico, I bought this for a 40" LG. It fits this TV very well. In my opinion, it is important that the Samsung has the retaining screws in the standard, (100x100/ 200x200). Otherwise it is quick and easy to mount.
