I have some double-sided "strong adhesive" that I pressed onto the wooden window frames to attach curtains. Is it possible to remove this from the wood with the spray without discolouring / damaging the wood?

If it's untreated wood, it might work (try it out in an inconspicuous place first :) ). My experience with varnish is that it tends to dissolve it as well... Greetings
