Hey Basically it should work with the adapter. The Air PODs Pro 2 are Bluetooth 4.0 upwards compatible. Just give it a try and otherwise you have 30 days to return it :)

Yes, you can connect your AirPods Max with the Bluetooth 5.0 USB adapter (transmitter & receiver) from Ugreen. The device supports Bluetooth profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HID and HSP, which are relevant for audio transmission and microphone functions. This means that the microphone of your AirPods Max should also work if you connect them via this adapter.

Ugreen's Bluetooth 5.0 USB adapter (model 80889) is primarily designed for computers and does not function specifically as an adapter for car audio systems. It is compatible with desktops, laptops, keyboards, mice, printers and Bluetooth speakers, but is not suitable for use in a vehicle with a USB audio port. If you're looking for a Bluetooth adapter for your car, you should consider a product specifically designed for car audio systems, such as the UGREEN Bluetooth Car Adapter.

The manufacturer does not provide any information regarding Mac OS compatibility. Art. 20676692 is Mac OS compatible according to the manufacturer (UGREEN USB Bluetooth 4.0)

I bought the dongle for the PS4. According to external reports, it also works for the PS5. Just note that for gaming, ideally aptX LL should be used, which this dongle cannot do (only SBC). Microphone does not work either. So if you intend to play multiplayer with voice chat, it won't work with just the dongle. I am satisfied because I only play single player on the PS anyway and the audio quality is OK for me personally, considering the price.

Hello Harald66 Most likely this will not work. I suspect that the car radio supports the protocols for FAT32, but the drivers for the Bluetooth profiles A2DP, AVRCP, HID, HSP cannot be installed.

Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to connect multiple devices at the same time. However, there are limitations, because if you use it on Windows for example, you can only choose one headset at a time. Although this should be possible via third-party software, it is not a plug and play solution.
