I have exactly this model 30445 (it says so on the device, operating instructions and here on Galaxus in the specification). As soon as I remove the device from the USB cable, it switches off. If I don't have it connected to the USB cable, I can press the button however I want, nothing happens. Doesn't the device have a battery? According to the specs, it should have one.

Unfortunately, I can't answer the question because I always leave the cable connected to the device. That way I don't lose the cable... But it definitely has a battery. I use it for hours on end and haven't yet found out how many hours the battery would last.

Can you leave the receiver on the charger all the time or will the battery be damaged?

You can already operate the part on the mains. But the battery will be damaged. You don't have the mobile phone permanently connected to the mains. Treat the receiver the same as your mobile phone and you will enjoy it for a long time. Greetings Christoph

Does the device also work in reverse? I.e. we would connect an audio source with the RCA cable and send the signal via Bluetooth to the speaker.
