Hello everyone Is it possible to configure the USW Pro Max switch without incurring additional costs? I don't have any other Ubiquiti hardware, but the switch fulfils my requirements very well. I also have no VLANs etc... So I have hardly any requirements. But I don't want to pay extra for a controller or anything like that. Many thanks for your feedback.

You can install the controller locally on your computer and use it to configure the switch. You can then close the controller software again. For a permanent solution, I would recommend a controller on a server such as a Raspberry PI or similar. Then you will also have statistical data on your switch. And the controller software is free on premise 👍🏻. Best regards Kevin

I think it's stupid to extend the warranty because the device will be obsolete in 2 years.

Hello Digitec. Some information about the product is not correct. This is a 48-port switch with 48 PoE ports. Port speeds are also not correct. It may be worth taking another look at all the specs.

Hello, I have just checked the specifications with the manufacturer and could not find any deviations. The number of assignable ports is indeed 52 as well as the maximum speed of 2.5 GbE for the RJ45 ports.
