I followed everything exactly as described, camera has the green light and is added to my network. I installed the app and followed the instructions. But the camera does not connect to the cloud, why? Please help me otherwise I will send the camera back.

As you write, the camera is integrated into the home network. Access via the camera IP in the home network is therefore possible. For access outside the home network, an account is required, which you have certainly set up. Log on to the camera in the home network, then click on "Basic", then select "Cloud Setting" and the following should appear: "The camera has been added to the TP-Link Cloud account". In the next line your "Cloud Account" should be listed. I hope I was able to help.
