Hello, Does this device need to be connected via an Ethernet cable to the main router (deco x50 5g), or can it be connected to the router only via wifi to extend the range?

Hello, can you tell me which version (hardware) of the product I'm talking about? Apparently the latest version (2.6) has 2 2.5gbps ports instead of one 2.5gbps port and one 1gbps port, and also a slightly more powerful processor (see datasheet here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-x50-poe/v2.6/#Firmware).
