Hoi Benzphilipp - I have read through the operating instructions and it only says that several external transmitters can be connected per base station, but nothing is said about the other way round. There is also nothing to be found on the TFA page. I can't help you any more than that...
I do not know whether an additional sensor can be used. In any case, in my case the sensor does not work at a distance of 5 metres (no reception) outdoors. That's why I bought another weather station.
I bought my TFA Casa in 2016 and set it up in my holiday home. This is in operation for maybe 2 months a year. When no one is there, we take the batteries out of the devices. I don't remember us having to change the batteries in those 4 years or so. This would mean that the batteries last for a few months for sure. This is also the case with another similar device at our house.
From the instructions:
- The outdoor values and the channel number are shown on the display of the base station. If you have connected more than one external transmitter, you can switch between channels 1 to 3 with the CH/+ key on the base station.
- You can also set an automatic channel change.
- Press and hold the CH/+ key to activate the automatic channel change.
- Briefly press the CH/+ key to stop the automatic channel change and to have the desired outside station permanently displayed again.
Hello. I have been using the TFA for over a year and the collector is placed on the ground on the terrace. It doesn't get a lot of rain but is still well exposed to the weather. I hope I have helped.
Hello 'Atschy
To activate the backlight, you must press the Snooze/Light button.
This is then activated for 5 seconds.
With kind regards
