Questions about tesa painter's tape wallpapers

Two questions about the durability of the adhesive tape: 1. how long can I remove it from paper without leaving any residue? 2. how long does the tape retain its good properties when it is still on the roll? Regarding 2: I am familiar with the phenomenon of regular painter's tape that it becomes completely sticky and unusable after about 2 years.
