Questions about tesa duct tape

Exciting that this question has just come up: I just used it today and unfortunately had to realise that the adhesion leaves a lot to be desired. Especially the adhesion to normal cover plastic... it holds. But with too much axial tension it loosens, which may also be desirable. But that's exactly why I buy a fabric tape (tensile strength). I know better ones, although I think Tesa is actually quite good, especially the painter's tapes. However, I will buy the "other" brand again for so-called "armoured tape", "stage tape" or "gaffa tape". Hope this helps!
