Yes, the unit has a CH plug.

The plates are easy to remove and should be washed by hand, as the non-stick coating on the plates can come off in the dishwasher

The edges of the length are approx. 1.1cm each, the width approx. 0.5cm.

Both the SAME waffle iron. The more expensive one came with various inserts, but now the cheaper one only has 2. Apparently these can be ordered from Tefal if needed.
