SRG HD channel NOT found. With the integrated SRG quick search, satellite appears: Hotbird 6/8/9 and TV channel SF 1 = signal strength and quality = 0 Cannot switch to Hotbird 3/4 here.

I have just installed this card. It worked without any problems. The prerequisite is an LNB that supports it. For example, the inverto twin monoblock. The satellite converter must also fit (e.g.: Spaun Diseqc switch SAR 212).

Is this box suitable for switching over SRG SAT HD channels after the current ones have been switched off by February 2016?

Yes, because this unit can also receive HD channels via satellite (DVB-S2).

Since SRG will be broadcasting its channels in UHD, is this box now obsolete?

If the device is not h265 capable, yes. Unfortunately, the product page on TechniSat is silent about the codecs.

SRG channels are no longer found with the new satellite access card. According to the SRG hotline, this device is also no longer on the list of SRG-supporting devices.

The SRG channels can only be received in HD from around 1 March. This is possible with this device. It worked perfectly for me. The channels only appear at about position 400.
