I have radiators - 5 of them in the living area and a radio thermostat. Now I can specify in the app who is the "boss" and regulates the temperature - in this case, of course, the radio thermostat. It measures the temperature at a convenient place in the room and controls the 5 actuators on the radiators so that the temperature is maintained at the radio thermostat.

The tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat is mainly controlled via an app. There is no remote control that has been specially developed for these thermostats. The heating is controlled and monitored via the tado° app on the smartphone, as well as through integration with smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.

There is no ado trap. All functions are also available without a subscription. Only the automated function must be activated via subscription. Otherwise, the system reliably asks whether you want to regulate the heating according to the detected situation.
You need the starter kit which includes a small box that connects to the router and one thermostatic head per radiator.
The subscription is not obligatory, it costs 3.00 per month and allows an automation of the regulation of the radiators (absence, open window...)
