The "Switchbot Hub 2" device would be required to be able to read out the temperature via the Internet.
I have no experience with Hombli. However, you can make this hygrometer "really" smart with the Switchbot Hub 2 (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/switchbot-hub-2-smart-home-hub-25368055), e.g. with Matter or Homekit. Smart CH plugs would be available from Eve or Philips Hue, for example. Mystrom also makes some, but they don't (yet) have Matter support. I had/have all three in use - the ones from Eve are by far the best quality and particularly practical for setting up a Thread network.
