I switched to Starlink about 3 months ago. It worked quite well at first. In the meantime, Starlink is unusable with MS Teams. It keeps crashing for several seconds. According to the Starlink log, it's only a few milliseconds, but in Teams it's several seconds.
My download speeds were between 150 and 250 Mbps.
Unfortunately, we currently have no information on this. However, as soon as a source of supply is available, we will certainly try to include the product in our range.
Hello,
Subscription is via Starlink directly, we only sell the hardware on our site. Here is the link to the site: https://www.starlink.com/ch/residential
Hello, you can also pause the 50th plan. This is called "cancelling". To switch it on and off, however, you must have reception with your mobile. But you can also switch it on from further away. The dish just needs to be facing roughly north.
Plan is 1 month, you can pause at any time, but will be charged for 1 month. Start on 15 August, purchase on 17 August, is active and pay by 15 September. Roaming subscription at 59 is with low priority, i.e. if there are many aerials in the same place, those with a fixed address get more speed. Cable: I had the original DE power cable with angle and water seal and a CH version without angle. The router can then no longer be set up, must remain in the air.
You simply have to select the right plan, in this case: Mobile Regional (costs 59.- per month). The connection is established automatically and as soon as the connection is re-established, you can access and configure it from anywhere in the world using the app. The only thing your parents need to be able to do is set up the antenna in a suitable place (with as few obstacles as possible) and plug in the cables.
The plan can be paused flexibly.
Instead of the mobile tariffs, you could also use a fixed address for residential (€50, better data rates).
The dish automatically aligns itself using an internal motor.
The view to the north should always be clear, as it is orientated in that direction.
The chances are very good. Explanation: I ordered a link from Switzerland and it works on Kazakhstan, whereas this country is listed in the countries that do not yet have Starlink coverage.
I conclude that there is a difference between the official acceptance of starlink services by the states and the actual operation.
Hello,
Yes it's possible, I did it in France in my holiday home. I took out a subscription in France on the Starlink site with the serial number of the kit and it works very well. The kits are all the same (in my opinion).
