Addendum: I would put it into operation here first. I couldn't get my Starlink from Digitec to work straight away because the Starlink app said that the kit was already active in another account, but I only have one. I suspect it was a Starlink error. After providing the serial number/kit number, support was able to unlock the Starlink for me so that I could put it into operation in my account with a subscription. It now has a travel plan, which was only used on a trial basis and at the end of the month it goes into sleep mode (this can always be switched on after a month, the plan "sleeps" during this time and costs nothing), after which it can simply be put back into operation directly from the app. This is easier than cancelling, because the system always checks whether there is enough capacity if you want to reactivate it, if this is not the case, it cannot be activated. That wouldn't be great either. The first Starlink kit is directly from Starlink, i.e. from the shop, and could be set up and switched on without any problems and was immediately online, as the plan was ordered directly with the kit. Disadvantage: it takes about 3 weeks for the kit to arrive, Digitec is quicker. The first kit has a home plan installed and serves as a backup for our fibre connection, which has sometimes been down for several hours, which for me is like being banned from work. One more thing about the speed: I achieve speeds of 200-just over 400Mbit/s in download and 20-40Mbit/s in upload. The latency is 15-40ms, which is highly acceptable for satellite Internet. Even "gaming" which I don't do myself, but I do in the household ;) is possible without any problems, I did the blind test and routed the internal LAN to Starlink for 2 days, there were no complaints. It's far better than a 4/5G backup, which depends a lot on your location in relation to the masts. A few crumbling Mbit/s depending on the number of users, because when everyone is surfing it gets even slower (primetime from 5 pm - 11 pm).

Please report your situation to our customer service so that they can check it and help you accordingly. https://www.galaxus.ch/help I would also recommend that you report your problem directly to Starlink customer service, they will certainly be able to help you.

In principle none, only the kit (antenna + router) is yours. The plan is always with Starlink, even if you buy from digitec. At starlink is only "hardware rental 0 CHF/month", you have to send it back after cancelling the plan (in good condition according to the terms and conditions).

Hello, - With or without motor? -> With motor is no longer produced. -> without - Does the "dish" have to be accessible or can it also be installed on the roof so that you can no longer reach it? -> In principle, install and forget. Until now I am not aware costellation has been postponed. - If on the roof, which bracket? Wall bracket or swivelling bracket? - Tube diameter? -> suitable for antenna and stable :), preferably original, see starlink shop. - Is the starlink cable longer than 15 metres? -> 45m is in shop, best power injector / router not too far from antenna and then "normal" cables. Greetings

No, you can simply order and then connect to your customer account using the Starlink app. As long as you don't connect, there are no subscription costs. Only the cost of the hardware now.

Download the app, register and set up Starlink according to the app's instructions. Buy a package with a credit card (e.g. 1 month) and you're done. I was activated immediately after purchase.

As far as I could find out, the devices are "geo-locked". However, I can't say what the situation is with the subscription plans or whether an update can solve this. That's why I'm passing on the question to see if anyone with experience can answer it. Alternatively, I recommend contacting the manufacturer directly or asking the question in the Community so that more users can be reached.
