I have had my Sony KD55AG9 on this mount for a while now and it works without any problems, I can also push it all the way up against the wall (which is what the mount is actually designed for). The bracket is designed for TVs with a screen diagonal of up to 195 cm, which is just about compatible with a 77 inch TV. If I were you, I would take a closer look at the bracket and have it replaced if necessary...
Hello, unfortunately I don't know if this mount goes for the XR-65A9J. I used this mount for the Sony OLED KD65AG9 (65", 4K, OLED, 2019) and it fits perfectly, I can only recommend it. Please check directly with Sony whether this mount also works for the XR-65A9J.

Exactly, you can theoretically turn 55' a little further than 65'. But the difference shouldn't be too big. I have a 55' on it and it fits perfectly.

Unfortunately, I don't know if it fits the Samsung. I have used it with a Sony device. It's a great quality wall mount that allows for versatile device mounting. I recommend this mount.
According to research, it should fit together.
The wall bracket supports screens up to max. 195 cm. The screen diagonal of the TV you mentioned is 194.70 cm. This should therefore fit.
