I have not tested it, but I see no reason why the alarm clock would not work in Italy: the mains frequency is also 50Hz in Italy, and the radio frequencies are also the same. According to the instruction manual, the alarm clock can be operated in the time zones Western, Central, and Eastern European Time, and Italy is one of them.

Hello, no there is no output for headphones
The volume of the alarm clock increases on its own when it rings. It increases from minimum to maximum. It cannot be adjusted manually.
