I am of the opinion that they are about 6-7m long. They could be longer, but they can easily be extended. In our case, it was just enough to get them behind the couch, because you can help a bit with the position of the subwoofer. The subwoofer doesn't have to be at the front, but can be anywhere in the room.

The small surround speakers of the Sony HT-S20R do not connect to the subwoofer or the main soundbar via Bluetooth. Instead, they are connected using wired connections. The Bluetooth connectivity on the HT-S20R is primarily for streaming music from smartphones or other Bluetooth-enabled devices to the soundbar, not for connecting the rear speakers or subwoofer.
Hi raimondo92,
It depends on the TV whether it supports this function.
However, we can confirm that HT-S20R supports the control of HDMI function.
Sony Europe
Bluetooth is only for the transmission of e.g. music from the mobile phone, tablet etc. to the system. The TV is connected with an optical and/or HDMI cable.
Cut the cable at a suitable place where it does not interfere and cannot be seen. Strip about 7mm of insulation from the cable and connect it with luster terminals. Use a speaker cable with a diameter of 0.75mm2. One cable is completely black and one is black with grey spots. If you don't want to use luster terminals, you can also solder it.
Hello...The cables to the rear speakers are 8m long. The HT-S20R has an HDMI and an optical input as well as an analogue input (3.5mm jack). There is also a USB port on the front of the subwoofer. Spotify can of course be streamed to the system via Bluetooth.
Don't focus too hard on the wattages. 400 watts and 1000 watts are not that far apart. E.g. to double the volume in theory, you have to increase the wattage about tenfold! So theoretically, more watts = more volume, but between 400 and 1000 watts you will have almost no difference. Also, it depends much more on the design and quality of the components than on the wattage. I have a 50 watt system and could bring down the walls with it ;-). Watts are, by and large, just marketing gobbledygook, unless it's about matching amps and speakers, in which case it's important.
The dimensions of the soundbar (W/H/D) are 760 mm × 52 mm × 86 mm. All components are connected to the active subwoofer by cable. The flat cable from the subwoofer to the soundbar is about 2m long and the two cables from the subwoofer to the surround sound speakers are 8m long. The sound quality is okay for the price (you can select different sound effects). The playback options with analogue input, optical input, HDMI(ARC) output, USB stick and Bluetooth (you can pair up to 10 devices at the same time) and the easy selection via the supplied remote control are brilliant for this price.
