Our kettle keeps having a loose contact. It beeps and then switches off without having finished heating. What can this be and what can we do? Thank you

My kettle does the opposite and the older it gets the longer it boils the water?! Check plug and cable? Clean the buttons? Descale? Good luck!

if the cover rim breaks, it can be repaired, have had the expensive Solis since 2018 and am otherwise satisfied.

The kettle beeps three times when the set temperature is reached, which makes sense at low temperatures, as the water does not boil audibly beforehand. Without it, you could miss the end of the heating process. The beeping cannot be switched off (except, of course, with a small intervention in the electronics). Personally, the only thing that bothers me is the one-time beep when the cooker is placed on the base. If it is placed at an angle, it can lead to a loose contact and a beep concert. I would still buy the cooker again.
