Hello You are absolutely right, the description is misleading. Silhouette's website states: "The removable adhesive allows for both indoor and outdoor use. But can also be applied in select outdoor applications". I think "select outdoor applications" does not mean directly exposed to the weather. Best regards

The film can be cut to any size. I use a Silhouette Curio and it works perfectly.
